That’s awesome! The Frozen Pond technique is really making waves in the ceramics world, and it’s no surprise—the interplay of Albany Slip Brown (ASB), Running Hot Chowder (RHC), and Iron Lustre creates such a dynamic and fluid movement in the glaze. The way the RHC flows over the ASB, with Iron Lustre pulling everything into rich, unpredictable textures, gives it that molten ice effect that makes it so mesmerizing.
That feathery melt effect from RHC is what makes it so special – and also why it’s getting so hard to find, especially in Europe!
