Ancient Copper and Sapphire Float combo Mug by Jennifer Meech

This is a beautiful white stoneware travel cup with a visually striking glaze. The combination of Ancient Copper and Sapphire Float, fired to Cone 6 with a 3-minute hold, has resulted in a stunning effect. The Ancient Copper gives it a rich, textured metallic appearance, while the Sapphire Float drips and pools in a mesmerizing way, creating a dynamic, fluid look.

The slipcast Laguna white stoneware base provides a smooth and durable surface for the glazes to interact. The layering of Sapphire Float likely caused the cascading effect, where the glaze ran and blended into the Ancient Copper, producing those deep blue and tan tones.
