Karyn Spencer is a passionate ceramic artist and teacher who loves to experiment with glaze combinations and push creative boundaries. She never sticks to just one color—mixing and layering is her thing. When she realized that simple test strips weren’t enough for her students to truly see how a glaze works on a full piece, she started a project: making a mini vase for every glaze she owns. With Cone 5 Bmix clay as her base, her collection is growing, one vase at a time, and she’s having a blast along the way. Her goal is to make glazing more approachable, exciting, and full of possibilities for everyone who steps into the studio.
